Fantasy and Adventure Books for Children, Teens and Adults
Here you will find my fantasy and adventure books for different age groups – from read-aloud and early reader books to young adult titles and novels. Magical worlds, distinctive characters and captivating stories are at the heart of my storytelling.
The collection includes, among others, the Forest Spirits series, the Christmas story Renties Weihnachtsrausch, Blink7000 and the Clumsy Monster Toot, as well as several new book projects.
Fantasy and Adventure Books by Peggy Liebenow
Stories have accompanied me for just as long as painting. While I work with color on canvas, characters begin to take shape in my books and follow their own paths. Some live deep in the forest, others in the snow, under water, or among the stars. Some carry flowers in their hearts, while others struggle with very human doubts.
My fantasy and adventure books are not built on quick effects. They grow out of moods, observations of nature and inner images. Every story begins with a character, not with a plot.
Story Worlds & Adventure Books
With the Forest Spirits series, an entire world came to life:
Im Zauberreich der Waldgeister, Die verborgenen Welten der Waldgeister and Geheimnisvolle Waldgeisterwelten tell of courage, friendship, hidden secrets in the forest and unexpected encounters.
Here, children discover imaginative adventures as well as quiet moments in which characters grow beyond themselves.
Renties Weihnachtsrausch brings winter fantasy to life.
Blink7000 and the Clumsy Monster Toot tells a story about flowers, being different and an extraordinary friendship between two very different beings.
With Flüstern der Bilder, my storytelling opens more strongly toward teenagers and adults. My first crime novel expands my adventure worlds with suspense and psychological depth.
Fantasy and Storytelling for Different Age Groups
My children’s books are suitable both as read-aloud stories and for early readers. The longer narrative forms are aimed at teenagers and adults who are looking for atmospheric, character-driven fantasy.
What guides me when I write is not a specific age group, but the story itself. Some are colorful and playful. Others are quieter, denser and more intense.
All of them, however, are about growth. About relationships. About decisions. About fantastic adventure worlds that do more than entertain — they linger.
Why these books?
Because as an artist and author, I do not only tell stories — I create worlds.
Because every character becomes visible, in words and in images.
Because imagination is not an escape, but a form of strength.
And because the best adventures do not have to be loud to stay in your memory.
