Abstract painting in large format - mixed media & glaze technique
The charming abstract painting in a large square format was made in mixed media with elements from the glaze technique. The many great glazes of blue, black and cream white delight here in the simple, yet very distinctive design. The painter used them to get even color surfaces with partial deep light. These color surfaces are simple & transparent and hardly leave any brush marks. Here and there the paint ran down the surface of the canvas - they were skillfully laid on top of each other layer after layer.
