Water sports enthusiasts and holidaymakers love the beauty of the largest Dutch lake, the IJsselmeer. Discover the IJsselmeer in the artwork as a "Calm Sea" with horizontal, gentle wavy lines splashing perfectly ashore. A good two-thirds of the oil painting is dedicated to the IJsselmeer and its different shades of blue: the viewer seems to be part of the painting himself and to be standing on the wet sandy beach, which gently merges into what is happening at sea.
Midsummer mood spreads when you let your eyes wander over the screen from your sofa or armchair. This painting exerts a calm pull and relaxes with its fresh colors.

The entire surface was treated with a sealant, varnish to protect the work of art and to intensify the color intensity. High-quality and lightfast oil paints were used on canvas with several white primers. Canvas is stapled on the back. Please note the format information on the dimensions. Since the living space examples are photomontages, it can happen that the works of art appear smaller or larger. The accessories and furniture shown in the photos are not part of my offer.
