The Dutch port city of Lemmer is located on the edge of the IJsselmeer. Anyone who already knows "De Friese Meren" will fall for this holiday flair on the water. In addition to the IJsselmeer, you can also get to Lemmer via the Tjeukenmeer or Groote Brekken waterway. The drawing for the later oil painting was created directly on site.
